Eligibility
D1 Rules, Appendix A - Licensing Regulations
Those who hold a D1-A license, D1-B license, or D1-provisional license (provisional licenses can be obtained on the day of the event) and have a valid driver's license (excluding those who have not yet reached the license acquisition age)

獲得権利
Those who earn 16 or more points (points earned in multiple districts can be combined) will be given the right to apply for a D1-A license in 2025.
*Even if the above points requirements are met during the series, the right to apply for a license will only apply from the following year.

Trophies and prizes from sponsors will be awarded to the top three drivers in each race.
D1 drivers will check your driving and give you advice!
If any deficiencies in the submitted documents or required equipment are found on the day of the competition, you will be denied participation in the competition.
Required equipment for all classes
● Long sleeves, long trousers, sneakers, racing gloves and helmet (half caps not allowed) must be worn.
- Lights (headlights, brake lights, indicators, wipers, etc.) must be installed, turned on, and operational.
* Protruding tires are not permitted (the tire tread surface must not be visible when viewed from above the fender).
* Muffler installation requirements and exhaust noise comply with each circuit's regulations.
● Installation of front and rear bumpers (the installation method does not matter, but installation that can easily come off is not allowed )
● Opening the wastegate to the atmosphere (exhaust in the engine compartment area) is not permitted.
● The windshield must not be broken or damaged. Acrylic is not allowed.
Regarding other glass, if it is deemed to be interfering with the running or progress of the event, staff may issue a warning.
● Attach the bib number ( attach all four sides securely with tape at least 5cm wide )
If the number plate comes off on the course, as well as any parts falling off, a red flag will be displayed and the race will be halted.
In addition, vehicles that cannot confirm the number will not be allowed to be inspected, so please make sure the number is firmly attached on all four sides so that it does not come off during the race.
* Participation/attendance with red license plates (temporary operation permit/out-of-service operation permit) is not permitted.

* Aftermarket towing hooks must be installed ( genuine towing hooks only are not permitted)

Participating Vehicles D1 Series Guidelines Excerpt
○ Participating vehicles must refer to the D1 Regulations Appendix-C2_D2 Vehicle Regulations and comply with the special regulations for the Middle West Series, which take precedence over the others.
○ Participants are responsible for ensuring that their vehicles are in a sufficient condition for the competition at the time of the vehicle inspection or registration.

D1競技会に関する個人情報の取り扱いについて
When applying to participate in a D1 competition, competitors (entrants) must agree to the following regarding the handling of personal information described in the application form and the documents submitted accompanying the application.
①Purpose of collecting personal information Personal information will be used for the application purpose stated in the application form, as well as for the following purposes:
1) Database management, operation and delivery of various entry licenses
2) Contact details for procedures related to the D1 competition
3) Creating a public database of competition results and publishing the data in magazines and DVDs containing the results
4) Prize money transfer
5) Request for questionnaire survey
6) Joining various insurances
7) Compiling statistics
② Use and provision of personal information
1) Personal information provided cannot be used beyond the scope of ① above.
2) Except for the above ① or when required by law, personal information provided to us will not be disclosed or provided to third parties.
3) In the course of carrying out business in the D1 competition, personal information may be entrusted to a contractor with whom a non-disclosure agreement has been concluded. In such cases, the handling of personal information by the contractor must be strictly supervised and managed.
③Disclosure, correction, and deletion of personal information
1) You may request that your personal information be disclosed to the event organizer.
2) If any of the collected personal information is found to be inaccurate or incorrect, the competition organizers and related staff must promptly correct or delete it.

Participating Vehicles
Starting in 2017, participating vehicles will be required to submit a maintenance inspection checklist.
When registering for participation, please inspect your vehicle according to the main inspection check items before the trip.
Drifting puts a lot more strain on the car and its parts than normal driving, so
Check the condition of the parts (whether they are damaged or deformed) and their installation.
Please ensure that drivers and mechanics regularly inspect and check the vehicle to ensure safety.
